In the rare case an appliance truly isn’t worth fixing (it’s very old, or the repair would cost close to a replacement), we also sell brand-new appliances so you have a one-stop option.

A good rule of thumb: if the repair costs less than about half the price of a comparable new unit, and the appliance isn’t past its typical lifespan, repairing is usually the better value. Typical lifespans: refrigerators 10–15 years, washing machines 10–12 years, dryers 10–13 years, dishwashers 9–12 years, ranges and ovens 13–15 years, microwaves 8–10 years. An appliance well within its expected life is almost always worth repairing; one well past it is a better candidate for replacement.

Because we can’t know what’s wrong until we diagnose the unit in person, we can’t give an accurate repair quote sight-unseen. Once our technician diagnoses the appliance, you get a clear price up front and decide before any work is done.

There is a diagnostic service fee ($149) for the in-home visit — and it is waived when you go ahead with a repair or a new-appliance installation. So if we do the work, the visit is on us.

Yes — every repair is guaranteed. Repairs come with a one-year warranty on parts and labor, and with our Membership Plan you’re covered by a warranty for the life of the appliance — for as long as you stay a member.

In most cases, yes — we carry the common parts on the truck and complete the repair the same day. Occasionally a part has to be ordered, which usually arrives within a day or two.
